The Telegraph highlights the behaviour of the BBC during the London rioting and focuses on the Corporation's use of the term "protesters" to describe the feral scum infesting our streets.

More linguistic support for violence, plus ca change? I mean, they call terrorists "militants" so can we be that shocked that they see mass thuggery as protest?

Any[normal] person who has had the misfortune to work with inner city kids would tell you that this has been in the making for years.
We witness the consequences of liberal socialist/EU law & NSPCC, ensuring children must be nurtured and protected against the evil older generation. They have been educated in schools about "their rights" and how they are effectively untouchable by any adult including the Police.
This is serious situation created by the policies that prevent parents and responsible adults ensuring their children grow up with a sense of respect for their elders and authority. Quite how you now get control without serious use of force is of great concern.
In certain ethnic communities there is no such history of responsibility and respect i.e. Africa and Caribbean.
From the outset of the riots last Friday in Tottenham, the BBC's mealy mouthed coverage has been utterly APPALLING, bordering on incitement! Something seriously needs to be done about that 'insitituion' because its blatant left-wing propoganda is now putting lives at risk!

Much more worrying is the paralysis of the Fire Brigade in the face of Police in Gold Command being scared to declare it "safe" to let the firefighters do their job, while buildings burn. The same paralysis that stopped rescuers entering train tunnels after 7/7 "in case" there might be more bombs. The paralysis is entirely the work of the legal profession and Blairs legacy, employers "duty of care". Like the Criminal Rights Act, a lawyers playground. The only law here is the law of unintended consequences. Cameron needs to detoxify Labours legal legacy. Not that he will.
Although Humphrys deigned not to call the scum "protestors" he gave May an awkward time on Today this morning. For once he was right. She was awful. The first thing in tackling a difficult situation is to admit the facts (as far as they are known). The fact is that the police have lost control (if they ever had it) in a number of parts of London.
May refused to admit this police failure upfront and produced some uncovincing PR waffle which gave me (as a Londoner) no comfort at all. Sure, she condemned the criminality and violence but the word "black" never passed her lips. She also (in the grand tradition of the CINOs) omitted to take the opportunity to give a sideswipe to scum like Livingstone (and echoed by Mary Riddell in her colum in the Telegraph this morning http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8630533/Riots-the-underclass-lashes-out.html ) whose response to all this is to make excuses and see how much political advantage can be gained by the left.
As far as im concerned laws regarding defence of your own propety should be stretched to include your country and fellow honest tax paying residents property too. Therefore any civilian defending other people's property from looters should not be prosecuted. Time to defend back.

There is a huge gulf between the tone of the BBC coverage and the radio coverage by LBC.
LBC have been just as up-to-date with the actual news of incidents area by area - but its entire tone has been to condemn the lawless rioting in the city the radio station serves. Not so on the BBC - there has been a litany of whining and excuse-seeking.
I hope that a lot of Londoners have noticed this difference. They have been ill-served by the BBC.

On Today this morning they had a report from one of their reporters who was out last night. He started by describing 2 groups on the streets - a 'peaceful' group of protestors and a Socialist Workers group - yes he actually said that - and asked one of the 'peaceful ones' about the SW - they confirmed that the SWs were inciting violence and mayhem... At the end of the report I would have expected Humphrys or whoever to then move to questioning the leader of the Socialist Workers party (whoever that may be) or at least highlight that (unsurprising to me at least!) aspect of this mayhem... but no. Not a comment they moved straight on to a different topic about what Jeremy Hunt was doing today. Omission again.
It seems to me that in the past couple of days the SW and the anarchists are now hitching a ride on the original black rioting.
Which is of course to be expected. Any excuse for violence.

You know how everyone calls for transparency, the cure for all society’s ills?
Well, the Guardian is doing its bit. It’s being open and transparent in a way the BBC can’t risk. That is, it is nice and open and transparent about its need to disparage Jews at every opportunity.
Other racial and religious specifics are alluded to and fondly embraced in nice cohesive, one-size-fits all terms such as diverse, multi-ethnic or “racially mixed.”

Just seen a soundbite from the PM outside No 10 just now. Great to see a black police officer in the background. There's plenty of black britons as appalled by these riots as any other fellow Briton.
The inadequecy of the Police response is everyone's fault. We as a country allowed a cabal of Marxist subversives to launch a political assault upon policing in our country and were too apathetic to stand up to it. The BBC of course played an enormous role in this subversion.

A caller on 5Live made an excellent point this morning. He said the Toxteth riots 25 years ago were only half a mile away from Liverpool city centre but noone felt threatened. The police contained the situation by going in heavy handed. The Police aren't doing so now because they no the way they'll be condemned and few will get up of their arses to defend them. Our fault.

I dont want to tar the entire black population of London and the rest of England as rioters by focussing on the colour of most of the rioters. However, at the same time, last night there was a spread of copycat riots throughout England that stopped at the Scottish and Welsh borders. Could it be that the highly multi-cultural nature of modern England, unlike Scotland and most of Wales, means we have a huge amount of people in our country who dont identify with it and couldn't give a toss about it? I think it could.

I agree; tarring the entire black population of England would be unfair - and wrong. However, it seems from the reports (on TV and in the papers) that most of the rioters are black. (I'm sure, if the BBC could find them, white hoodies would feature largely in its reports.) Silence concerning this salient and obvious fact helps who exactly? Unless you can describe a problem fairly accurately you can't begin to solve it. This criminality started in a black community and the vast majority of the perps elsewhere are apparently also black. AFAIAA the density of black (and other ethnic) settlement in the UK outside England compared to that in England is minuscule: accordingly, I suspect this has little to do with integration or lack of same.

I saw that interview, and was watching preceding and proceeding coverage. I got very little sense of a 'narrative'. Did you catch the prior interview with a black youth worker who was a Tory candidate at the last election?

Actually John, all too many senior officers hold degrees in sociology, and they have been 'common purposed' as well. Look no further than the useless ex-chief Blair for what i mean as ineffective officers. Time for Cameron to go through the senior ranks with venom and sack most of them, and put some hard-bitten sergeants in their place, might do the trick, after all, the Army is 'run' by them, as Army officers will probably agree. Gavin Esler on Newsnight was complaining that plastic bullets had not been used on Day 2. Just imagine the line he'd be taking if that had happened - especially if someone had died.

I don't know whether anybody has posted about this previously - but I've just become aware of a document which seems to explain a lot about the attitude of the BBC to racial issues.
The BBC is heavily unionised and, being extremely left leaning, obeys union rules without question.
The NUJ publishes a set of guidelines for handling race issues which appears to bind all its members into a pro-immigration, anti-indigenous population straitjacket.

That's how it should be. The tragedies of Hungerford and Dunblane, particularly the latter, was a failure of police to enforce the law and follow up tip-offs about Hamilton from his gun club, who were concerned that his mental state was deteriorating and that his license was out, with his guns at home.
